Gourmet Morning Breakfast
Chef Christopher Haver prepares a gourmet breakfast each morning using seasonal and fresh ingredients. Beginning at 7am, he greets our guests with a fresh carafe of Camp 4 Coffee, a local Crested Butte mountain brew. Between 8am and 9am, guests may enjoy decadent fare ranging from Blue Corn Blueberry Pancakes served with Orange Cinnamon Infused Maple Syrup to an Italian Frittata accompanied with homemade croissants, butter and jams. Due to using only the finest ingredients, our menu changes frequently, keeping our cuisine creative and exciting. Our breakfast is as grand and memorable as the breathtaking setting, viewing the gorgeous Mount Crested Butte from our dining room - elegant, yet comfortable and unpretentious.
Daily Craft Beer Tastings
A passion of owner Christopher Haver is brewing beer and discovering the ever-expanding market of craft breweries with our guests. We offer four types of Colorado craft beers on tap and a rotating Beer of the Day, as we feel it is the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the balance of any afternoon. With a constant rotation of specialty brews, our guests have the opportunity to enjoy and taste unique craft beers including lagers, ambers, reds, hefeweizens, porters, IPA’s and saisons to name a few. Wine and hard cider also available. Beer Tasting are held Monday - Saturday.
HYDROTHERAPY OUTDOOR HOT TUB
Hydrotherapy is the ultimate method to relax muscles and ease away discomforts. A natural therapy, using nature’s most powerful relieving agents; heat, water and air, it invigorates and stimulates the release of endorphins, the body’s natural pain killers. Whether travel, activities or simply the need to unwind, is at your forefront, there is no better way to relieve tension then The Purple Mountain Bed & Breakfast’s hot tub located on our beautiful, private sundeck. During the daylight hours, enjoy the exclusive views of the mountains and at night, the endless stars that are visible from the absence of city lights.
Zen Den
New this year, is the addition of our Zen Den located in the downstairs hallway. This room has been setup to offer a space to relax and rejuvenate. The room is equipped with yoga mats & blocks, body rollers, a stretch band, and a steam shower. We also offer a TV with free Peloton Yoga, Stretching, Body Weight Workouts, and Meditation classes
Hot Chocolate Bar | Sweet Treats
We believe in pampering our guests and offering them every excuse to relax. Beginning at 4 pm every afternoon, we offer a decadent Ghirardelli Hot Chocolate Bar, complete with a variety of premium toppings. Additionally, homemade desserts are available during our guests’ stay. All day, every day, feel free to indulge!
Stash Tea Bar
The Stash Tea Company is a privately-held company headquartered in Tigard, Oregon, a suburb of Portland. Founded in 1972, Stash Tea originally operated out of an old Portland Victorian style house, supplying loose herbal teas and bulk herbs to natural food stores. Starting in 1975, the company broadened its focus to include bagged teas and then began to sell a full line of traditional, specialty blend and herbal teas.
Acli-Mate® Natural Sports Drink
We want our guests to fully enjoy Crested Butte and realize that our altitude can be an adjustment. To assist in acclimating to 8,885 feet, we provide each guest room with complimentary bottles of water and Acli-Mate® Natural Sports Drink. Acli-Mate® is a natural energy drink supplement for travelers who will be in the mountains at or above 5,000 feet. Acli-Mate® contains key ingredients to help aid in acclimatization to high altitude or being at elevation.
