After a major renovation in 2003, the Purple Mountain Bed & Breakfast has been transformed into a stylish, chic spot. The originally restored 1927 wood facade, reclaimed hardwood floors and stone hearth and mantel set the luxe scene as you arrive. Relax by the fireplace in our plush living room, featuring rich, velveteen sofas and chairs, relaxing music, big screen TV and an iPad for our guests' use. We have an extensive library of books and games for our guests to use as they unwind and settle into our relaxing environment. Our property features a Studio Day Spa, offering customized treatments and an outdoor hot tub, perfect for soaking and star gazing. In the morning, enjoy a gourmet breakfast in our elegant dining room which features a pristine view of Mount Crested Butte.
Each of our guests rooms, which are named after popular local mountains, is unique in size and shape, meeting each guest's needs and requirements. Our guest rooms feature:

Business Center: While we wish our guests the ability to "unplug" in paradise, we understand the needs of our clientele and want to make sure you have access to any remote system needed. We provide an iPad for our guests' use, which features current news, weather reports, restaurant menus, and local attractions. We also have a wireless printer that is available at all times. This printer is accessible via our iPad or any personal device of our guests.
We want our guests to fully enjoy Crested Butte and realize that our altitude can be an adjustment. To assist in acclimating to 8,885 feet, we provide each guest room with complimentary bottles of water and Acli-Mate Natural Sports Drink. Acli-Mate is a natural energy drink supplement for travelers who will be in the mountains at or above 5,000 feet. Acli-Mate contains key ingredients to help aid in acclimatization to high altitude or being at elevation.
