This historic lodge offers one of the best locations in town in a quiet neighborhood while just being a short walk away from all the action of Crested Butte. The rooms in this Crested Butte lodge offer very comfortable beds, spectacular mountain views and private bathrooms. Located on the second floor, each room is named after its view of the mountains. Guests have access to a refrigerator, purified water, coffee maker, tea, microwave and outdoor hot tub for use at any time of the day or night. We offer a full healthy breakfast every morning cooked by the owner that is sure to start your day off right. The Purple Mountain Lodge Bed & Breakfast is owner run and operated. This unique Crested Butte lodging room offers a Queen Bed, TV with VCR and DVD, Private Bath with Claw Foot Tub and Separate Shower Stall, and Private Balcony. Located to the south of our home, the Whetstone range tops out at 12,516 feet. The Whetstone room is the largest of all the rooms. This suite offers many amenities for its guests. After a day of activity, guests can relax on a private balcony overlooking the Whetstone range. Then, one can soak in a bath in the antique claw foot tub. With a sitting area in the room, guests can relax inside and watch cable television, which features Crested Butte's local extreme sport channel. A queen bed and full bath complete the well-lit room. The white granite pinnacles of Gothic and Crested Butte mountains are considered sister mountains, also known as the Twin Buttes. With Gothic rising to 12,625 feet and Mt. Crested Butte rising to 12,162 feet, both mountains reveal a stunning view and challenging hikes for all. One of our favorite guests room, the Twin Buttes room overlooks both of these well-known peaks as well as the northern mountain range. The small sitting area gives guests a place to relax in their room after a long day of activities. The room is complete with a queen bed and private bath. Slanted ceilings and a sink set in an antique piece of furniture create a cottage feel to the Paradise Divide room. The immense Mt. Crested Butte stands outside of the room's view as well.
