Free Townie Bikes
July 21, 2010
We are now proud to offer our guests another great Crested Butte experience. Cruiser bikes to ride around town like the locals. Crested Butte is a very bike friendly town and though walking to everything is simple, riding there is all the more fun. If you are up for a challenge, try our tandem bike out. We are always looking for new ways to improve our guests experience and thanks for some great guest feedback we have a fleet of new bikes.

Crested Butte Fall Colors
July 15, 2010
Crested Butte’s Fall brings visitors from all over to see some of Colorado’s best Autumn colors. Kebler Pass offers the largest Aspen Grove in the world which because of its connected root system is also considered to be one of the largest organisms in the world. The large variety of hiking and biking trails available in Crested Butte make leaf watching truly a sport here.

Rustlers Gulch Trail
July 13, 2010
The north end of Gothic Road offers some incredible trails for hiking and mountain biking. One often overlooked trail is Rustlers Gulch. This trail is open to hikers only and offers an incredibly peaceful valley to explore. There are creeks along the way, some old mining ruins and even a small waterfall. During the middle of the summer there are tons of wildflowers and in late summer it offers some incredible views.

Touch of Snow
July 6, 2010
Crested Butte can get snow any month of the year. Our early snows offer incredible scenery early in the mornings. However, any snow before November melts away quickly allowing all our trails and wilderness access to remain open.
